ProFruit Machinery continues its expansion into the North American market, with a successful visit to both the United States and Canada. During this trip, our team had the opportunity to launch new equipment, meet with clients, and strengthen partnerships.
First Equipment Launch in the USA – Martin Family Orchards
We are proud to announce that we have successfully installed and launched our fruit processing equipment in the United States for the first time. Our client, Martin Family Orchards, based in Wenatchee, WA – known as the apple capital of the world – has invested in a full 1,200 kg/h fruit processing line.
Martin Family Orchards primarily cultivates apples, Rainier cherries, peaches, and nectarines for fresh produce. Last year, they decided to expand into cider production using unconditioned apples and reached out to us for the necessary equipment. With our technology, they are now equipped to efficiently process their fruit into high-quality cider, diversifying their product offerings.
Strengthening Partnerships in Canada
Our journey continued in Kelowna, Canada, where we visited Farming Karma. This client has integrated our 3,000 kg/h fruit processing line into their facility to enhance efficiency in apple and fruit soda production. During our visit, we observed the performance of their new juice production line and discussed further improvements and collaboration opportunities.
Producing the first cider batch at Glenbourne Cider
Additionally, we had the pleasure of visiting Glenbourne Inc., a family-run business with a deep passion for horticulture. As the only apple growers on the island, they currently cultivate over 4,000 apple trees and are planning further expansion. To support their cider and juice production journey, they have invested in our 800 kg/h apple processing line. Their first juice batch has already been successfully produced, and they plan to press not only apples but also berries and other fruits as they continue to grow their operations.
Industry Insights from Okanagan Valley
During our visit to Okanagan Valley, the heart of Canada’s apple and wine industry, we explored various wineries and cider houses, gaining valuable insights into market trends and production techniques. This visit allowed us to deepen our understanding of the region’s industry dynamics and strengthen our relationships with potential future clients.
Future Collaboration and Growth
Throughout the trip, our director, Pijus, engaged in discussions with our partners to review current equipment performance and outline future collaboration strategies. These meetings reaffirmed our commitment to delivering high-quality processing solutions and ensuring the success of our clients across North America.
ProFruit Machinery is excited about the opportunities ahead and looks forward to further expanding our presence in the North American market. With each successful installation, we continue to support fruit producers in optimizing their processing capabilities and exploring new business avenues.
To conclude, we leave you with one of the most delightful highlights of this business trip – a video capturing the tasting of the first cider batch made at Glenbourne Cider in Nova Scotia, Canada.
